XBox 360 latest update??

Can anyone tell me how i find out if i have the latest dashboard update for my 360??

connect to xbox live

turn on xbox 360

if it doesnt say anything, then you have the latest iirc

though there probs will be a way through the system menu

Well that happened but i cliked no, so it didnt download it. But then i put a game in it something similar came up and downloaded but i dont know if it was dash update or game update so im confused and need a way to check.

Basically, you can't connect to Live without doing the update, saying no, just backs you out. Play a game online and then the asnwer will be yes.

press the guide button

go to personal settings

change profile picture

if there is an option to change your personal and public picture, then its the latest update

Goto Console Settings > System Info and if your Dashboard is 2.0.2858.0 then you have the latest version.

The next update is due for release in November. There are some pictures floating about showing some of the apparant GUI changes.
