Xbox 360- Media Extender problem

Hi folks, was hoping someone could offer me some suggestions on the following problem:

I turned on my xbox this evening, and I could no longer access the music, pictures, video etc stored on my PC from the media blade.
I can however access them through Media Center on the xbox, but I find this too slow and clunky.
The PC can see the xbox, it shows on both the full network map and in the media sharing tab of WMP11.
Despite the xbox seeing the PC, when I run the 'test media connection' thing under network settings it fails on the last bit.

I am totally baffled as to why it would suddenly stop working (was working absolutely fine last night).

Anyone experienced anything similar to this?
Its very annoying, as I use the 360 as a media extender in the living room all the time for music and videos etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update - Solved the problem after many hours poncing about!!

Turns out it was a Digital Rights Management issue with WMP 11.

In case anyone else has a similar snag, delete the contents of the DRM folder in windows->microsoft to fix the problem (it worked for me anyway).

It's great that you posted how to fix it once you found out, so many people just let the thread die and it doesn't help those who have similar issues
