Hi, a friend bought an xbox 360 and she wanted to play some avi films on it but she got an error message saying she needed to update the software because she doesnt have internet at home i asked her to bring her 360 HDD round to mine and i updated the software via xbox live then tried a avi file , it worked great
She then took it home and put it back on here console and tried to play a avi, it then gave her a error message saying again she needed to update the software to play the file even tho id just done it , is this a known bug ? because ive noticed this error on my xbox too from time to time
anyway for her to fix it without having to bring the hdd back to mine for ANOTHER update ?
