Being used to playing games on the PC I am finding it difficult to adapt to the xbox 360 controller for shooting games as I'm always getting my ass kicked on live.

With the PC mouse I could move the gun quickly & get my aim on target with good accuracy & precision, but on the 360 I find it more difficult as it's not as precise as a mouse & have to make more adjustments before shooting

Being a Microsoft console, does anyone know if there is going to be an xbox 360 mouse/keyboard?

I reckon it would be a really bad idea for MS to allow keyboard/mouse to work.
Yes the controller is not as accurate and harder but it's more fun once you get sued to it you get to a decent level of skill also, if they allow mouse/keyboard then everyone would be forced to use it to compete with others when most still want to use controller because of the fun factor.

MS continuously repeat the mantra of "no keyboard and mouse, no HD-DVD for games" blah de blah.

I felt the same way but it just takes practise. I actually enjoy using the 360 controller a lot more than a keyboard/mouse now.

I'm fine with most games, it's just the shooting ones I'm finding it hardest to adapt to, guess I will just have to keep playing them untill I get better!

You're never going to be able to aim half as well with a pad as with a mouse. It's just a fact. I've been using analogue controllers since the N64 and they haven't improved and no matter how much you use them or get used to them they cannot replace a mouse.

Obviously though the difficulty in games takes this into acount though, or the game has auto-aim. if you tried playing something where you need to accurately aim in a split second, like GRAW on PC (very different game to the 360 version btw), on a pad, you would never finish the first level. It's definitely the biggest drawback of consoles.
