xbox 360 new benq drive won't open

Hi all.

ok i got new drivefor my 360 and its opens when laying the xbox 360 on its side but if i stand it up the disk drive seems to be catching on some thing and won't open.

I can't think why it open one way and not the other lol.

Anyone else had this problem ?

I could always just leave it on its side but takes a lot more room up on my desk

Try pushing the drive in very quickly as the drive is trying to open.

I have the same problem on my 360 and this is the only way I can open and close it, as it wont stay closed if it's on it's side.

I think i know what u mean and i tested few things but nothing worked so far.

I even change the disk tray from the old drive still same thing.
