Tried connecting my xbox to my PC so I can get a sound output through my JBL Creature II speakers. I have tried connecting the VGA cable (which then goes through the 2x RCA to phono adapter) to both the line in and microphone inputs.
I have unmuted both of these and can see the sound bar fluctuate so it is registering the sound. I cannot get it to output through my speakers though.
What else can I do? Using Vista if this helps.
