I recently bought a 360 premium with HDMI and a Toshiba 32AV505D TV to go with it.

Everything works nicely over the component HD cable, but whatever I try, I cant get it to display anything over the HDMI cable.

Any ideas?

You mave have to reset the display from the 360. Think you hold the main on button on the 360.

Not sure though.

Thought I would put this is hear rather than starting a new thread. I have the new Samsung LE46A656A and whenever I change the source to HDMI3(the one the 360 uses) my 360 restarts. I changed over to watch the tv when I was having dinner the other night and when I went back to the 360 it just reset itself. Anyone any ideas?

Finally solved it.

Gave the xbox to a bloke at work who also has a 360 linked to his TV via HDMI so that he could try it on his and see where the fault is.

Seems the HDMI cable is knackered. :(

Annoying, but by far the better option than the xbox or telly being knackered :)

Just so I don't have to create a new thread about this...

How do you reset the video settings on the 360/PS3 without being able to see the settings?

Have you tried setting the tv to the Hdmi channel the 360 is using before switching on the 360.
I had this problem its something to do with the 360 having a return from the tv when the correct input is selected. If i have another input selected on the tv when i power up, the 360 just sits there in standby. If i then switch the tv to the correct hdmi channel the 360 powers up..

I called ms and they said it will be fixed in a later update...???
