xbox 360 november dashboard update: is there a way to get it w/o connecting to Live?

If you can connect the 360 to live, and want the extra functionality of the updates, it's not exactly a massive pain to sign up to live. It's not as if it costs you anything anyway.

MS should offer it as a downloadable iso, but I don't think they have/will done it.
 
They need to find some way for people to update there xbox360 without it being connected to the internet....

Am guessing there must be 1000's of xbox360 that are not connected to the internet for some reason or other...(like there still loads of people with 56k dialup modems and parents with no PC at all in the home,but there kids has a xbox360 etc)

Have you looked at the official 360 mag, as I heard they were going to put updates on the demo disc.

Probably rubbish though, I haven't read that mag since the 1st issue.
 
i dont think u can do this atm, maybe in the future... maybe u know a friend who is on live and you can take it round to his place and then just use his live account to update your box?
