Xbox 360 on a LCD

my VGA cable should come tomorrow and i intend on using the xbox 360 on my samsung TFT, it has a 1600 by 1050 res (i think ) do i need to make any changes before setting it up? as it have been used on a bulk standard tv prior to this

Once plugged in just change to the somethingX720 resolution.

Next (?) update has 1680x1050 over VGA!!!

just plug it in and go to settings and change the res to suit
you cant do it before

Doesnt have the option of 1650x1080 till the update is implimented... I just found out that the max res that my 46" TV will accept via vga...

no it was default to a 1024x768 res afaik. Just change this to what you think suits best

my samsung is the same res afaik (i cant check right now im offshore) but i think i have mine set to 1280x1024....i think

however the next update for the xbox360 will include 16:10 support so you will soon be able to have the res at 1680x1050. When you connect the xbox over vga just have a look at the resolutions and decide which one you think is best

heh no worries mate, if you want wireless you can buy a wireless adaptor but its around £50. But they do come with a network cable to plug into your router for net access its all very simple
