Hi guys,
I have a 24" Dell 2405FPW which I think I have owned now for over 5 years. It is still working perfectly and in excellent condition, one of the best PC purchases I ever made if I am honest, it still looks new and will probably last me another few years easily!
The problem is, it is lacking HDMI as it is quite a few years old now, even though HDMI seems standand in pretty much all recent monitors.
My question is, how can I connect my XBOX 360 to this monitor and get sound? I do not have the soundbar that came with this monitor but I think that requires plugging into a soundcard anyway.
Also, atm I have a HDMI>DVI converter which I am using to connect the XBOX to the monitor but my PC is also connected via DVI so I have to manually switch between the 2 depending on which one I am using. What other solution is there?
I don't want to sell this brilliant monitor for next to nothing just to fork out for a newer model with more inputs...
