Xbox 360 Optical Adapter?

I run my 360 on HDMI into my TV but I'm looking at getting a Logitech X-230, I can't get optical out from the HDMI or the TV so I need an adapter, what is it called that I'm after and how much should I expect to pay?

Just cut up your component cable and use that. Plenty of guides on the net.

Break open the plastic case from the connector of either the MS component or VGA cable. This allows you to have that plugged in a long side the HDMI (without breaking the plastic it won't fit) and just run a standard optical cable from the component/vga cable to your Logitech thingy. Assuming it has optical in of course.

There are guides if you google on how to do this. I can't link to them as I'm at work.

The official HDMI cable comes with the adapter, and it can be had for less than 20 quid.

Cutting up an old cable works fine as well as said.
