Hi guys - little problem i'm hoping somone can help me with.

I've had my xbox pads and wireless battery charger kits for a while now, but i've noticed that the light on the charger doesn't light up anymore and now my battery's dead :(!

Am i right in thinking that if i plug the charger into the pad without the battery, the pad should connect because there is a physical connection?

If both of my chargers now don't work, would the best option be to buy a quick charge kit to charge my batteries up and then put them into my pads?

Thanks

Viks

The play and charge kits won't power the controllers without the battery in, just tried it to make sure. From what I've seen the quick charge units are far better than the play and charge system anyway, I only use my play and charge thing connected to the PC as half the time I leave it in the xbox it doesn't bother to charge it anyway.

I tried putting the charger into my PC but nothing happens.

It does look like the batteries which may have died. I'll get the quick charge kit which i think comes with a battery and then try to charge all mine. If they are all dead then I'll have to buy an additional one.

Also Mahnsikir if the kits do work without the battery and mine don't, hopefully that points towards the kits themselves rather then the batteries?

Thanks for the help.

Just double checked my play and charge kit without battery in and yeah it works, the charge light light doesnt turn on but the controller works just fine.

Worth getting the quick charge kit either way, if the chargers borked youre getting a new one and if its the battery thats broken you're getting a new one too :) plus the quick charge is quicker to charge surprisingly enough!
