XBox 360 Premium for under £210 incl Delivery

Just thought I'd share this with everyone as I have just followed the deal as described on hotdealsuk forums.

Basically it goes like this:

- Xbox 360 Console FULL from Boots: £279.99
- Enter FFER57 for 10% off at Boots online

**This brings the price down to £252.99...not finished yet!

- Extra 500 Boots advantage reward points with this offer equates to £5 on your card
- You then get Triple points because its Boots online which equals £279.99 x 4 x 3 [You also get 4 points to every pound spent with Boots online]. This equates to a whopping 3859 advantage points or £38.50 real money

**Deduct these from the total and you get the console for effectively £209.49

My order has gone through and delivery is estimated for 1st November, I was most impressed. I will use the advantage points to buy accessories for my Xbox from Boots. However if they do not offer what I need that will go a massive way to paying for little Christmas presents this year :)

I sat there last night thinking about buying that deal, then changed my mind because I dont use boots that much to use the points.

The XBL Gold for £14.99 on that forum looks a god damn steal :)

Looking at the number 'my 360 has died' threads I'd say it looks like they have. I think we all can admit they had a few problems with all the pre-xmas launch year batches but looking on here, other forums and my friends list the number of 'new' 360's going wrong seems to be very small.

I have to say that's a very good deal.

What games would you start with btw?

How noisy are the latest 360s, compared to the last-gen Xbox?

Games, erm well that's the rub - there isn't anything that grabs me at the moment. I am looking forward to Forza 2 and the new Colin McRae game but they're not out for some time yet.

I know forza and colin mcrae are quite a bit away, but project gotham 3 is one of my favourite racing games ever and will be cheaper now. For all you guys that are thinking about getting one but havent played one before, your in for a treat! I got mine on release and havent had any problems with it. Theres surely enough threads on here with people complimenting their 360's so you can get a lot of info off them.

Thats what I thought as well, as for starting out games...its coming up to christmas and you can guarantee its the season for price drops and offers :)
 
Whenever I do get a 360, I will probably buy PGR3 and Burnout Revenge, but not until they are under ten quid on ebay or something. For me they aren't worth more than that, when I've already got PGR2 and Burnout Revenge on the Xbox.

good deal btw, i paid £310 for a premium, 2 wireless pads, PGR3 and TDU.

I only buy for my Mrs. Last night I brought her a spanking new 40 inch samsung. She aint get **** all else :D
