Visually though, it was nothing impressive at all imo nothing that the PC couldn't manage anyway. It has some good games but its best rated ones are PGR3 and oblivion, but oblivion can be had on the x360, so I doubt 1 game warrents 280 quid for a console :\
I dont think itll come down till before the PS3 launch, if they reduce on the same day it launches, thatll probably be the earliest (Sept 2006) Then poss for the christmas rush, Dec 2006, and if not, Spring after everyones splashed out 280 for it for their xmas pressies

i say every pays a £5 for a guess at the ps3 price, closest gets a ps3 from the money donated
seriously though, i dont think MS will drop the price until sales slow, or they really hammer the early release, probs just after xmas if the ps3 isnt out by then

I think the 360 will be cheeper anyway without a price drop but am sure MS will still drop it a little just to put another nail in the sony coffin
I have yet to see anything from the PS3 camp that couldnt be done on the 360 in fact i have yet to see any in game media that even looks better then current 360 games sony would be stupid to charge £399 and if they do i will soon drop

Didn't really want to get involved but I saw you say Call of Duty 2 was better on the PC. I'd like to disagree with that statement.
I've played it on both and far preferred the 360 version and the PC I played CoD2 on was pretty top end so I was playing on all the highest settings at high res.
It just played better on the 360 and was a much more enjoyable experience.
Edit: And lollerskates at GR:AW being complicated...
