Xbox 360 Returns Box

Just got the dreaded ring of death on my 360 and registered for the repair online, however I am slightly confused as to what happens now.

On the final stage it says that a box and packing notice will be shipped to out for me to return the console in. I am now slightly confused however as I have received an email with a link to print off a UPS returns delivery label.

Am I still going to receive a box to send it back in or is it time to start looking for my own? Other posts suggest that there is an option to specify whether you want to receive the delivery label by post or email but I can't find this anywhere in on the returns page.
 
I recently did this and I received the UPS links and labels in an email. I then put the label on a box (my own box) with my xbox in and then microsoft will return it in 10 working days.

As a note you lose the box you give ... which was a shame as i returned it in my original xbox360 box. Also I took off my harddrive before I shipped the Xbox.

use any box. except the original xbox box
 
Thanks found a motherboard box which fits it perfectly though theres not much room for padding, may have to make one. Read the bit about not sending the hard drive, dont have to lose any saved games.

What's the average time for repairs now as it seems that microsoft have got the procedure down to a tee now they're having to repair thousands each week!
 
You will or I did, Receive a Box Delivered from DHL i think it was.

This is a plain white box, with some padding in it for your Xbox and an Anti-Static Bag, and also some Selo tape to seal the box.

Inside the box there is a leadlet explaining what to do, Once you pack up your Xbox in the box they delivered, you phone the number on the information sheet, which is 0800 093 1033, and give them the Account number 937 59 10, which is also on the information sheet, DHL will then come and collect the box the next day.

Tis Simple :)
 
PS2 box would be best as you may need the PS3 box. Nobody needs a PS2 box & it's Funny.
