Xbox 360 Router Recommendations

Hi guys

I am looking to purchase a router for setting up the xbox 360 on media center 2005. Microsoft recommend wireless standard A for streaming videos (transcode360 being used) so am looking to purchase the Linksys WRT55AG. Does anyone have any experience of this router or have any other recomendations?

Recommending 802.11a is completely pointless, given 802.11g:
a) runs at the same speed
b) is generally cheaper
c) is generally easier to find.

The router won't be any good to you if it isn't a cable internet connection you're going to hook up to it either.

I thought that the 5ghz band had less clutter hence that is why micrsoft are recommending wireless a

As the router is Tri band I thought it would cover all eventualities
