Xbox 360 RROD

Xbox 360 has RROD but just the centre power symbol, none of the quarters are red. However, when I press the sync button and the power button the centre is still red but all four quarters flash green consistently.

Does anyone know what may be causing it?

To be honest, 360's are that cheap now when they RROD better off buying a new one. Not worth it trying to repair unless you have extra manufactures warranty.

I had this once and it was an issue with power.
unplug it completely from the mains, and the brick from 360, wait for the power to dissipate from the brick, plug back in.
