Xbox 360 Screen Corruption

Went to play COD4 today and after a few minutes the screen corrupts and some nasty sounds some from the speakers, I've tried a demo and it's the same, but there's no red light code on the front, so what could it be?

The console is 3 years old now so warrenty expired long ago, any possible fixes?

Well it's a launch one so however long ago, anyway, because it's not rrod'ing it's not covered anyway!

Price of a new xbox at a guess

I did the ducting mod so each heatsink ends up with 1 fans worth of air pressure, GPU heatsink gets red hot so its not a contact issue, I added a duct on the top of the GPU heatsink to force air through the fins. I played COD4 for a bit and it didn't crash so fingers crossed.
