Hi all, I've got an Xbox 360 Slim 250GB model and I use the Sky Player on it as I pay £35 a month for Sky Go for the Sky Sports.
Even though it's a few button presses away, I come home from a long day at work and just hate having to go through all the menus to load up Sky Player. So for the past day or so, I've just been leaving my Xbox 360 to run all day and I just switch the TV off instead.
Which brings me to my question, does anyone have a rough idea how much more electricity I'm using by having my Xbox on all the time? Or does anyone even know a way I can make my Sky Player be the first thing that loads up by default when I switch it on? Would it make a difference if I say just exited back to the Sky Player main menu instead of leaving a stream running before I switch off the TV, and then when I wanna watch it again, load up the stream? I'm guessing streaming a live channel would use up more electricity than being at an idle Sky Player menu?
Help much appreciated. Regards.
