no your lap times will double and maybe even triple they are just a money wasting gimmick

what an idiotic statement

i am slightly faster with the wheel after much practice with the same car and track using both wheel and pad.

it just takes a little practice to get used to it.

Chaps,

Well now my 360 is back from repairs and I have the Forz2 demo and the wheel I am happy chappie! You really get to feel the car move when u loosen your grip n the weel and I wouldnt think to play it on the pad. PGR3 was brought to life with the wheel and with forza 2 I am having some serious enjoyment. I mean in my beloved lambo with all the aids on I managed to get a lap time of 1m 11 seconds!! hehehe So I'll never be stressing over the fastest lap table but I will be racing you all for 8th!!
What I really need is some tips on how to race with others on a track, now I can stay on it i want to race and not bump and crunch my way around! :)

Your welcome to post some times for laps in any car of your choice and Fergie and Myself will be all too glad to demonstrate how wrong your are.

Glad others are finding the wheel a lot of fun too.

Well he is a stenjy scotsman :p

They do look good, and would love a shot of one, but for £80 are they really worth it?

On the forza 2 demo i was 2 or 3 seconds behind my pad time's with the wheel for a start but when i got used to it i beat all my times with the wheel and it seems more rewarding using the wheel with all the assist's off doing fast times .
