I currently network my PC with a wireless USB dongle and I am trying to set up ICS so I can connect my Xbox via my ethernet connect on my PC. However when I enable ICS on the Local area Connection the wireless connection drops.

Any ideas?

This may sound stupid but are you sharing the right connection? The 'local area connection' wont be the one you need to share, that would be the wireless one

OK I'm making progress now. The Xbox can obtain an Ip address, however it now fails at MTU in the connection test.

What next?

It shouldnt be failing that, go onto your routers menu and check the size of the MTU on there, it needs to be greater than or equal to 1365, my router only goes up to 1492 but for some reason its on 1500 atm
