Hey there.

Am about to get myself an X360, but need to know whether there is a way I can connect them, via the VGA cable phono outputs or any other output, to my PC speakers?

My speakers have no other inputs than the 3 cables (front, rear, sub/centre) that run from the sub to the soundcard in my PC, is there any sort of converter available?

I know you probably won't be able to link me but a push in the right direction (aka the name of what I am looking for) would be much appreciated.

Ahhrg. :(

Might have to go the way of just plugging running it through the inputs on my pc.

Bit of a roundabout way but I guess it will work.

With the official MS VGA cable you get an adaptor that turns the 2 RCA cables into 1 mini-jack input, and I'm sure you'll have an input for this either on your speakers or your soundcard.

Yeah, am going to do that through my PC.

Annoying to have to keep my PC on while playing though :/

If you can explain? I've got 3 speaker cables running into my PC, and I need to connect them to 2 red/white phono cables from the vga cable..

any recommendations on that front? anything ive found on the bay for a resonable price seems to only have clip style outputs for regular home ent speakers rather than 3.5mm jacks

id even settle for rca outputs...think ive got a few converters knocking about for 3.5 -> rca

This is exactly the method im using and it works absolutely fine, also allows me to play mp3s while playing on my xbox and browse the net on my second monitor whilst waiting to connect to games ;p

The other option would be via optical (buy a soundcard which has an optical input/ buy a front panel for your soundcard which has a front optical input/ buy speakers which have optical input)
