I'm going to be getting an Xbox 360 soon but I want to hook it up to my 17" LCD so I can get it in HD rather than a standard TV. The problem I have is that I only have 1 LCD display and 1 set of speakers.

Can anyone suggest a way of hooking both the 360 and the PC up to the speakers without having to switch the cables over every time? I guess I'm looking for a device like a KVM but only for audio and video.

I've got both the PC and 360 plugged into my 5.1 speakers at same time.

I've just plugged the 360 into the centre channel. Works very well as both still use the bass speaker

I have a Logitech 2.1 speaker system with a 3.5mm jack, no optical or secondary inputs unfortunetly. I should also mention that I won't have my PC and 360 on at the same time.

google for :

"Four-Way Stereo Audio Switch Box uk"

without the speech marks, cant link it directly here.

Nice and cheap, allows audio switching 4 way via phono or 3.5mm jack.

I use it myself i have my 360/ ps2 / gamecube and PC plugged into it. And it goes into the front 2 speakers.

I can then use the "matrix" function on my speakers to play the 2 channel sound though all 5 speakers.

Heres an old blurry pic but you get the idea...
