XBOX 360 - VGA Gender

Hi,

Just a quick question, I am proposing acquiring an XBOX 360, and using it into my existing monitor [which isn't LCD - ie antiquated!] - the VGA cable is fixed into the back of the monitor with the wire running into the female port on my pc.

Someone suggested I might need a "Gender Change" component to plug it into an XBOX - which Gender is the VGA port on the XBOX?

You'll need a female to female one.

I think the gender changer is included in the official MS VGA cable. It wasnt in my joytech one though - cost me a couple fo quid on fleabay for one.

Yes, gender changer was included with my official vga thing from xbox

The official cable comes with a gender changer, the 3rd party cables don't.
