xbox 360 \ Vista Ultimate x64 \ Sky Router

I've bought an xbox today - YAY! but really struggling with media center extender.

Basically, its unusably slow - Infact, it hardly ever works.

My Vista x64 Ultimate, is connected Via Wireless to my Sky Router, my Xbox is a hardwired into the sky router.

I can add the extender fine, but it fails the network test at the end, but after its added, its impossible to use, it just so slow, and clunky..


Any ideas?

Is your wireless reception good?
Try plugging the Computer/laptop into the router too and see if it speeds up.

Spot on (and what I was kinda thinking too).

Put a cable in, instead of wireless, and it works a treat.

Do powerline Ethernet plugs work ok with it?
