Which adapter do you use and how do you rate it?

My Belkin wireless adapter stopped working around Christmas...again! Thats the second one since September. I have been very happy with the performance of these adapters as I never have to reset them and I hardly ever get any lag when playing fps online. Unlike a friend who had the genuine microsoft adapter. This adapter is going back to the shop tomorrow and I am unsure what to exchange it for.

Its been quite nice not having the Xbox connected to live as I have finally been completing the backlog of single player games I have:D.

Well i use a netgear one. TBH its pants. I have tried port forwarding etc etc and my nat is always bad. I would go on xbox.com and see what they have in their "live list" for routers that work best. I wanna change mine soon, as im fed up of not being able to join people games because of my NAT :(

Sorry just noticed you said wifi adaptor. Urm i dont know on that sorry

I didn't think you could use a non MS adaptor ?

Please do tell as I've using the LAN cable and wanting to move it upstairs but not wanting to spend £45 something that will only work with the Xbox.

I'd spend that if I could also unpluf it and use it on my PC ?

i ad issues using anything other then the ms one.

i plugged that bad boy in worked 1st time and was up and running in 2 minutes.

id recommend the ms one tbh.

Best to use Ethernet. Lag may not be totally obvious in FPS games, but you will have a higher latency than through a cable and it'll put you at a disadvantage.

I have never used wifi on my 360. Wifi probably is the same as Ethernet... lag wise. BUT i would have thought wifi has to be more laggy? Not really clued up on wifi/networks :)

My Belkin wireless gaming adapter was only just over £30 when I bought it. I took it back today and they had no wireless adapters at all in stock so I was refunded.

I have been to 4 out of town stores today and none of them had any in stock!

If I could find the Microsoft one for £34 I would buy it

I use homeplugs for pc no probs at all prob helps that my house is only 2yrs old so decent wiring (depending on polish contractors lol), son uses the official wireless one upstairs and has never dropped out yet, router is a bt homehub

personally I would just get the official one if I had to buy again

Another vote for the Microsoft wireless adapter. Never skipped a beat and have never noticeably dropped connection from a game or Live in two years.
