Hi all,

Got a Premium 360 and Microsoft Wifi adaptor at the weekend. Not having an awful lot of luck with it. It flashes on and off as connected, not connected, connected, not connected etc etc. When it is connected - for, say, 1-2 seconds at a time, the signal strength is green. Then it disconnects for 2 seconds. Then reconnects for 2 seconds, etc etc.

Any ideas? It is literally RIGHT beside a PC (Turned off atm) which gets a wireless signal without issue.

I have now moved the 360. It is directly beside my main PC, which I am using right now to type this. It is within line of sight of the router. The router is 8 metres from the PC.

It still doesn't work. It picks up the network, says its connected with good signal strength, then disconnects. Then it reconnects. Then it disconnects. It does this over and over again, staying either connected or disconnected for about 2 seconds.

This is utterly ridiculous. At £60 for a pathetic USB wifi thing it could at least have the decency to ACTUALLY WORK.

Or better still, if he has a wireless router, chances are he'll have ethernet ports, simply plug Xbox into one, take wifi adapter back and bobs your uncle

The router is in the study, the 360 is connected to the TV in the lounge. I only moved the 360 near to my main PC for testing purposes...

I'd like it to stay in the lounge, cabling is not an option hence wireless. All the laptops work in the lounge!
