Xbox 360 wireless controllers

Having huge problems with my PS2 pads and adaptor with Vista, it used to work but now its not playing Ball, it recognises the device but the controllers do not appear.

Contemplating getting a 360 wireless receiver and a couple of official 360 pads, anyone had any problems with these and as I have never played a 360 how do the pads compare to the long established PS2 pads that ive used for years.

I've got one and can highly recommend it, not only is it an excellent pad but a lot of new games come with pre-made configurations for it.

The 360 pad is the best one I've ever used, honestly. The PS2 one was good but I much prefer the 360's. I have two of the wireless pads and never have problems with them

He's hit the nail on the head, I have two wireless controllers aswell and they're fantastic. About 40 hours life battery in each pack and they're as quick and responsive right until the end.
