Xbox 360 Wireless Headset

I got told they were crap before I got one, bought one anyway and probably wish I didn't. Others may disagree but personally I think they are a waste of money.

They are excellent and highly recommended.

Why on earth would you need to be talking through it more than 10 feet away from your pad, or further away from the 360?! :confused:

Oh and simo, you can't have an animated sig mate :).

When I'm on with my mates I usually go to the balcony door to have a fag, its about 7 feet away. The headset stops working which can be annoying when chatting.
 
I just got sick of the headset unplugging itself from the controller everytime I moved to a more comfortable position. I would NEVER go back to a wired one now. Even if my wireless runs out of power I just simply play without a headset since the wired one is a pile of steaming dog crap in comparison.
 
Mine works great and I can use it quite a long way away.

I also use it on my PC as well with the crossfire adapter for VOIP and TS.
 
Wireless makes you sound so tinny, does sound better when using it but for everyone using the normal set u sound rubbish :mad:
 
I can always tell if someone is using a wired or wireless mic, Krono for example when playing Gears I noticed he got a wireless headset as his voice clarity was a lot clearer. A lot better IMO.

So much better purely for walking round the room also and not having to take your controller whilst talking.

I just stick mine on charge when its not in use on bedside table so running out of charge has yet to be an issue.
 
I kept breaking the wired ones, the cable is too flimsy. I went through two so I got a wireless one. No probs with it technically and it's much more comfy too.
 
I think it can be hit and miss with the wirless headset, i love mine and have no probs but have friends who have disconnections and also buzzing noises.
 
My wireless headset is great, I use it on my PC too for Ventrilo although apparently it makes a loud buzzing noise for everyone else every now and again /shrug

Works flawlessly on the 360 for me though, much prefer it to a wired one.
 
i loves my wireless, did have a few issues with buzzing to start with but no ones complained in a while that i buzzing.

I can hear people so much better though it, and find it very comfortable although it took a while to get used to :)
