XBOX 360 Wireless Headsets

Hey all, as topic, does anyone here use one over the standard wired one? I was thinking of getting one, just for the wireless convenience and not almost dipping the headset in my drink every time I take a sip!

How long is the battery life usually? Is it mains or USB charged? Good sound quality?

They're all USB charged now and the battery lasts for absolutely ages on mine. I actually went back to using a wired one though because it was more comfortable for long sessions as I could use a bigger loop thing for round my ear.

I bought mine back when they had AC adaptors so the model may have changed since but I found the ear bud too big and the ear loops too small, as did everyone who tried it on. Quite uncomfortable. I still have it lying around but the wired headset remains my headset of choice!

It's alright. Does hurt my ear after about 2 hours. Usually have to speak a tad louder aswell.

Battery isn't very good. Last for about 6 hours and takes ages to charge.

Can't even feel it when I've got it on, apart from if I shake my head, it slaps against my cheek

Wasn't a massive fan of mine (mains charged wireless one) so sold it on at auction. Sound quality was ok and the connevtivity was nice but just think the wired headsets are comfier.

had mine for ages no problems whatsoever

use it sporadically but battery life seems to be ok, not brilliant but good enough to not be a nuisance.

:O wired headsets comfier :O I play a lot of xbox live and I have to say this is the comfiest headset I've used (Ive used the xbox, xbox 360 headset and halo2 headset)

what there is a usb cable to charge it, grrrrr, I want it.

I must admit its a very nice piece of git, very light yet very powerful.

Love my wireless and wouldn't do without it

Charge time is 4 hours with a usage time of 8 hours. The long charge time isnt really an issue for me since I top it up everyday for an hour so its always at full charge.

I can't stand the wired headsets, since I am always moving into a more comfortable position every 10 mins while playing games. The wire always gets caught under my leg while changing positions, which leads to either the plug coming out of the bottom of the pad or the headset being pulled off my head =/
