Hi,

I've got an Xbox 360 4GB Slim:

http://www.game.co.uk/en/xbox-360-4gb-console-white-187266

It isn't picking up the '5G' (802.11n) network from my VM SuperHub 2, only the '2G' (802.11g) network. I used to have the Xbox wired to the router, but I recently moved the router to another room to improve wireless signal round the house (after testing some homeplugs, which didn't really work) and the slow speed is very annoying. Downloading SSFIV:AE is taking ages, and the latest episode of 24:LAD is streaming well below NowTV's top quality.

Anyone got any ideas why it isn't showing up?

The ability to use 5Ghz was removed from XBOX ever since the slim versions came out.

You will have to use the 2.4Ghz (which can go up to 300Mbps)

My download speeds were fine when I used VM and my slim, you sure it's not something else causing it?

Surely 2.4Ghz is sufficient.

The xbox 360 slim only supports wireless N @ 2.4ghz the only other option is to buy the black external wireless n adapter the one with the twin aerial design :)
