I need a wireless network adapter for my 360, been looking online and I only seem to find the official MS one. Are there not any 3rd party wireless adapters? The MS one is around £50:eek: imo thats just a rip off. & I cant find it in black so it matches with my Elite

nope only M$ ones
i got mine for £36 off that well known selling site

you can use a wireless bridge, but after the cost of that it comes out about the same price as the official one.

official one is a great bit of kit, but its definately overpriced!

its compatible with most routers, do a search on google with your router name and type and something like xbox live problems.

if you dont get any relevant results you should be ok.

It's worth checking to see if your existing router supports WDS (Wireless bridging). I refused to pay £50 for the official MS wireless adaptor so instead purchased another wireless router identical to my existing one (Belkin F5D7230-4) for a tenner off eBay. That's setup in access point mode and connects to my router wirelessly via WDS and the 360 then plugs into the access point via ethernet.

It's not the prettiest of solutions but who cares when it saved me £40! It's also given me much stronger wireless signals around the house and I have 3 spare network ports next to the 360 to connect up anything else if needed.

its actually the first thing I thought of but my router F5D9230-4 has no wireless bridge option, bit of a bummer really as I also have a belkin wireless extender thing. But it can only be bridged with the same router you have:(
