Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel

Anybody know if the force feedback works if you use this wheel with your PC as well as Xbox360?

from what I've been reading, the wheel works fine on the pc but you do loose the force feedback. newer titles will hopefully have the support added. the 360 controller has become well supported in recent titles.

I concur the wheel on PGR4 goes even beyond the fun factor of Sega Rally, for me its the new benchmark.

Having a nice blend of arcade-superficial realisim, just like the PGR4 physics its not too sensitive like FM2 yet not too arcade like Sega Rally. Each car is also a different beast more so with the wheel and then youve got the excellent weather effects adding to the enjoyment.

The best bit is turn up the volume get your ass comfy and thread your line through some amazing, no really i mean that some amazing high speed twisting corners that you just smile your balls off at when you get it right. This is racing for fun at its best. Drive well and your replays are almost an art form in their own sense.

If your a racing game fan and love the hairs rising up on the back of your neck the wheel and PGR is an experience i havnt had since being about 13 and playing games like Outrun or Power Drift in the arcades.

Oh and btw incase you havnt guessed by now i like the game a lot!.

Sit your ass down in one of thess......

You can go full-lock left to full-lock right in a split second on a pad, you can't on a wheel, so correcting little changes becomes a lot easier and quicker on a pad. Doing that lots of time per lap saves you a lot of time.

With most games I'd agree with you but PGR4 doesn't require the snap left to right changes that sega rally etc. needs. I've found with PGR3 that I'm pretty much as good with the wheel as I am with the pad.

Well i suppose we need a Wheel Vs Pad evening dont we?
Sort out the men from the boys...

The wheel is a lot harder particulary with C class upwards and RWD in particular. Requires much more finesse for throttle and braking....
