I bought a new MS Wireless Wheel yesterday, played forza 3 for a few hours last night with no problem at all.
Fired up the xbox this morning for some fun and now the wheel has decided to go all spacky... it seems that it thinks that the steering axis is a digital button ie if I turn a fraction off dead centre to the left, the in-game steering goes full lock to the left, just as if I had pressed the d-pad.
Somebody else has posted this video on youtube which shows the fault I'm having.
It's not just forza by the way, it happens in all games.
I'm a bit reluctant to get a warranty replacement from MS; what's to stop this happening again in a few months time when I don't have a warranty and I'd have to but a new one.
I'm almost at the point of chucking it back in its box and going to get a refund, which I don't especially want to do cos it was great while it worked!
So any thoughts?
