xbox 360 worth it?

I'm thinking of getting an xbox 360, simply due to the awesome amount of titles available for it. I already have a PS3, but am using it less and less for games - more for blu-ray movies.

Question, do you think it is worth me getting one and if so which xbox 360 do you recommend (core, premium, arcade, elite)?

If you can afford it yes get one some of the games are very good.
I would get either a premium or an elite as you get all the extras ie h/drive,h/phones.
You will get a month on xbox live free with a new console as well
If you get one make sure it has the falcon motherboard.
You can tell as the power supply is rated at 175watts.
That is written on the box underneath the serial no.
I have a ps3 and an elite and find i spend more time on the elite playing games.

Best thing to do is look at current and forthcoming exclusives for 360, if theres enough there that justifies the purchase then go for it.

You probably better off going with a premium (falcon) as elites are a rip-off and cores lack required accessories imo.
 
Yea they have HDMI but no harddrive, which is a necessity imo, and the rip-off price M$ charge for a harddrive its worth getting the premium.

Definatley invest in a 360, totally worth it in my opinion. However I would go for the premium over the arcade.
 
The 360 has some awesome games in the back catalogue that you can pick up for £15 to £25 brand new aswell.
 
Its worth getting the elite imo, the extra space is useful.

I find that I down load a lot of demos, had a couple of HD films, downloaded all the arcade trial games and all the DL content I have.

Premium... but maybe wait a day or two as there are big rumours that there will be a European price cut any day now...
 
I would invest in the elite personally, As I currently have the premium, And will definitely be getting the larger Hard drive. If I could go back and choose again I would have bought the elite
 
I have both and I would say you need them both.

Example just got condemed for 12 quid new for 360. Play COD4 and PGR online for the 360. From what I've seen the 360 is more geared to online play but that's understandable because they charge every user 40 quid per year compared to PS3 (free) so their online department should be infinitely better.
