Its stupid... they're all like "AND ON SATUDAY WE'VE GOT COD5 AND GEARS OF WAR 2 LINED UP" Yeah so...how does that work? People just play those games for the sake of a sign being on there saying 'thats what people should play' ?
Srrry if i seem miserable but I got excited about this so called Xtival just to do some research and find out it offers nothing to me!

Excellent news, I'll be waiting for my refund for this weeks live subscription from Microsoft then... or maybe I'll be credited for a weeks extra membership.... no didn't think so.

Well no, I don't think so either. Why would they credit you a week when the 'promotion' is only for a weekend?
EDIT - I'll personally refund you the maximum of 11p you're "losing out" this weekend if it really upsets you so much. That's only if you paid the £40 a year mind.

My mistake, I should really learn to read things properly so that I don't get a band wagon rolling against me

As I said, I thought it was for a week. Anyway, the money isn't really an issue its more the principle that M$ will bend over backwards to squeeze more money out of people but generally seem to raise 2 fingers to their current customers. Or maybe that is just my experience of them.

I know that MS, Sony and Nintendo are obviously in it for the money, but really, what they are doing isn't remotely that bad, you have a choice, none of it is poor value for money, stop being so bitter!
