Sold my old 360 a month or so back to finance things.

I have came into some money and I want to buy another 360.
I am ready to go out and get it and was wondering what you think of this deal...

Premium 360 with gears of war and rainbow six vegas for £299.
Is that a good deal or should I shop around?

I didnt have xbox live with my old 360, and I am wondering weather to get it or not now.
Is it worth £40 a year?

Quite a good deal if you want those 2 games. As for XBL yes its definately worth getting.

Have a hunt around and you could find a years xbox live sub for less than half that price. Just keep your eyes open in bargain bins etc.

Weren't a lot of places offering a premium pack + extra wireless controller + XBLive Arcade unplugged + PGR3 and 1 major title (GoW for example) for around £280-£300??

i cant find it anywhere for less than 35!

I've been shopping around loads recently, the best value starter bundle I could find was in game for £299. Premium Console, extra official wireless control, PGR3, Tomb Raider & that arcadey thing

I got mine for £15, and with a copy of PGR2 as well.
