my old sharpe 32 inch lcd supports 720p now i want to get a new monitor for my room and just wanted to know if anyone can see any more detail in 1080p if i was to buy a 24 inch lcd monitor. Nope, pretty much all 360 games render at 720P or below (Halo 3, CoD4 etc are below 720P).

so no point in buying a £350 monitor just buy the 22 inch asus one i guess

You dont JUST get 1080p visuals with it tho, you may be getting a better overall panel with better contrast, responce times and build quality etc etc.

You dont always pay for the fact it can display 1080.

I understand that 720p is the most respectfull resolution and i will see no real improvment by buying a 24 inch at running it at 1080p.
