Hey guys,

Ive been a pc gamer for a long time,Usualy play FPS but ive decided to sell my gaming pc in sig and just play the 360 (which i already have).

At first i thought going from pc to console would be quite a challenge considering the aiming wont be as good, but from downloading the COD-Black ops demo on Xbox and giving it a go its actually not as bad as i thought and i could see myself getting used to it and getting better.

my question is,while playing the single player on cod when you press the LT button you get like an aim assist...do you also get that in Multiplayer?

You dont get snap on aiming assistance, but it does 'trace' if they move around slightly.

Nope, doesn't lock on. If you press LT to go into iron sights, it will aim wherever you were pointing and not snap onto the nearest target like it does in single player.

If you're aiming and someone runs past, It will follow them slightly.

You get 3 forms of auto aim on consoles, bullet magnetism, variable turning speed and sticky aiming.

In CoD and halo, you can turn almost 45 degrees when an enemy runs past you with the sticky aiming as it "sucks you off" from where you were aiming. bullet magnetism is where bullets hit even though your cross hair was not on your target (particularly bad in CoD and is often mistaken for lag or dodgy hitboxes). Variable aiming speed slows down your turning when you are near an enemy to get precise targetting as well as quick turning when not looking at someone.
