Xbox.com major facelift coming tomorrow

Well, did they even test this new site? I'm on what I would consider the most flexible browser, and it's still not rendering right. They've got their drop downs behind their videos, they've got images misaligned and overlapping titles.

Agreed ive encountered more errors in the site within the first few mins then i have had hot dinners.

They will fix it and it is early days, but you would think they would at least test the majority of it before going live?
 
I just want it to start working, I use the site mainly for sending messages to live friends, because its far quicker to type than to bash it out letter by letter on the 360

Those who are saying they don't like the NXE interface, are there any particular reasons? I've never had a problem with it myself, you navigate up or down to the category of what you want to find then left or right to the item you want to look at. It's not rocket science, I also don't see how the PS3 interface is better it's basically the same but horizontal categories rather than vertical...
 
I like the avatars - more games should give you avatar rewards alongside achievements. You should get a unique avatar item if you get 1000/1000 points. There is no special reward on 360 for total completion as there is with the Platinum trophy on PS3.

Hmm childish looking, bloated, ugly, confusing and altogether pretty useless IMO. I have to say it is down to personal taste, and to me the xbox360 dash looks like so many of those Windows 7 themes you see and think – man whoever thought that looks good, but then you remember, some do.

Its nothing personal, I just think the XMB is a heck of a lot better and more to my taste. The only reason I suffer the xbox360 is because I want to play Forza 3 etc.. bit like I have to use the M1, as I want to get somewhere quickly… It’s a damn ugly road and nasty to be on, but it gets the job done. 360 is the same, ugly machine, ugly interface, ok controller but it can play a damn fine game or two..

Therefore I don’t not use a 360 just because I think it all looks like crap, I put this aside so as I can at least get to the games on the system… After all, I play the games, not marvel at the “awful’ dash.. I just think Sony is more elegant looking when you first turn the system on. Again IMO.
 
Guess i must be a fanboy too then i dislike 360 interface also, PS3 one is nicer and simplier imo.

360 = Bloated,Looks Grammed in, But the 360 games wise has a very very good collection just as the PS3 does.

It's not just based on this thread, your whole opinion of the 360 seems one of hate.

The worse looking interface you have ever used? OTT much.

It works just like the XMB on the PS3.

I don't get how people can look at the two and see they are not pretty much identical.
 
I think the NXE if fine, never had an issue with it. It's bloomin simple to navigate.
It was an improvement on the old one and I'm sure the coming update will improve things further.

Haven't has much experience of the PS3 dash but it doesn't seem to dissimilar

To be honest, every one of your posts I've read over the last few days has you bumming your PS3.

As for the interfaces, I couldn't care less. I push up and press A and I'm in a game.
 
They are similiar in the sense of they way you move through it however the 360 is not as nice maybe its due to size of how big it is and it gives the impression of being over filled the PS3 doesnt do this imo.

Again doesnt really effect playing it or should it put people of buying it just something they could improve.
