Saw the above article and it amused me. Does anyone have an idea of the power of the GPU inside the Xbox?

Instead, the Warwick team harnessed a single Xbox 360 Graphical Processing Unit (GPU). The chip was able to perform parallel processing functions at a fraction of the cost a traditional systems.
An Xbox 360 is about £200. Depending on how powerful that is, if you compare it with the cheapest system possible with a GTX 260/285, surely it won't even come close?

EDIT: I saw it most fitting to post here due to it's close relevance to the distributed computing projects that are around.
