Just a quick one, if i'm buting a 360 controler for use in windows games is there anything i need to know? would like a wireless one but after max compatability.

Or if you have a better idea please say so.

easiest option is the wired controller (you cant use the play and charge kit). You do need to download software to use the xbox pad (its free). To use the wireless pads you need to buy a receiver for the PC.

You can use a wireless pad just need to get a wireless adapter, you can pick one up for just over a tenner

Since using a wireless one (bought wired one first) I never use my wired one. It's just so much more convenient using wireless. Just get some rechargeable batteries and away you go!

Indeed, get the wireless controller, plug and play worked right away for me, easiest setup for any controller I've ever had ! I assume you are running vsta/7 os !

I just bought the wireless controller with the receiver and it really works well. You plug, and play

Though you have to like the design of the controller. I personally prefer PS3 controllers...
