Xbox controller bluetooth reconnecting issues after switching off Windows 11.

I've searched online and can't find any info regarding this, but the issue is, I can connect my Xbox series x controller via bluetooth to Windows 11 no problem, but when the automatic shut off for the controller goes off to save battery (when controller is not in use) it doesn't reconnect when I turn the controller back on. I have to remove it from my devices then pair it again via adding it to devices. It's not a huge issue but damn annoying having to do it each time.

Is there any fix to get it automatically reconnect?

It's a bloody mystery I tell ya!

Edit: turns out it was a crappy USB Bluetooth adapter I was using, changed it and works good now.
