Xbox controller not working

Hi all

Plugged in my Xbox one controller using the USB cable it came with but the PC doesn't detect it... I press the middle button but it just flashes for a minute or so then goes off... When the controller is plugged in it does a little vibrate so it's showing so sort of life

Anyone know what it could be?

you seeing it in device manager? try updating the driver or uninstalling it and then plug it back in.

No, Ive had a good look through device manager and its not even showing up in there... I've looked online and some people have said about using Xbox accessories app but that was a failure to

Try to use another usb or restart with the controller connected.
