Xbox controller, ok for windows 7?

is this wireless xbox controller ok with windows 7 64 bit, as want to use it for "racing" games (dirt/f1/grid etc) got a steering (saitek 440) whell but sometimes don't feel like messing with the whell, but just want a bit of instant play - err like a console

ive just ordered a black version of this [to go with my black case, keyboard, monitor etc.. for playing f1 2010.. tried playing with keyboard..not fun!

Yeah it works great, I've used mine with Dirt 2, all you have to do is go to the settings and click on the xbox controller and it is fully configured just like xbox.

No driver needed for Windows 7 64bit. If you do install the driver (from Microsoft's website) it gives you an on screen battery meter which is handy
