Hi there

I've managed to accumulate around 4 broken xbox controllers over the years, each of which with similar issues - either broken thumb sticks or dodgy audio jacks.

I've just had my 5th controller break, and rather than just buying a new one, I'd like to get all of them repaired.

Has anyone had a controller serviced by Microsoft in the past?

I'd be intrigued to hear your thoughts @Kreeeee as I seem to absolutely murder Elite V2s. The one I have now has knackered right bumper already and isn't that old. That and the analog sticks feeling like they're unscrewing.

Update to this

I’ve contacted Microsoft.

They won’t repair/exchange the controllers, nor will they sell me anything to repair them myself.

Absolutely crazy, in a time where companies, including Microsoft, preach to us how climate friendly they are, this is a joke - I have no choice but to bin them.

Worse still, I can’t even buy a new one - no stock of them anywhere local to me :/

@Kreeeee

Thanks for the info, I'll have a look as my controller is getting worse and worse. Sadly I can't go back to using mouse and keyboard as my hands are too dumb to get used to it all again so I need to get something sorted controller wise.
I was considering a Scuf.

Microsoft have also been useless to me with warranty. The current controller was a return from Microsoft as the original failed. The one I bought as a replacement in the interim failed (from Amazon) and I returned it, but when going to use the replacement one, I thought to check the warranty on it and it has expired the day it was sent back. It's an absolute farce.
