I'm a bit tired of all the sickly pro-MS stuff that gets posted here tbh. I'm pleased for Microsoft and their shareholders that they've finally managed to make a profit with their xbox project - ultimately that's how businesses should work and as long as they make a profit legally there's no problem at all with it. Same for Nintendo.

However it doesn't alter the fact that I, and a lot of other people, think that the 360 is overpriced for what it is - a PC that breaks down a lot :D . Thats it - trolling over, promise :p

I dont think overpriced comes into it for the 360 at all, thats a very silly statement.

Sounds like someone is jealous and missing out on some AAA treatment!
 
TBH I must admit that I am getting bored of MS and the AAA games they seem to be releasing at the moment, when are we finally going to see some AAAA games for the 360?

Just put down your head, and walk away. Friendly advice, Anything thats not pro 360, in here will result in circular threads, which go on for 30 pages, With people saying you are wrong. Whether you are right or not.

IMO, What scorza said in his first post was not a stab at MS, But a stab at the people who put down Nintendo for making profits on this very forum. It was an observation of a possible hypocritical situation

I don't get the issue and notion that this forum is pro-MS and anti-Sony..

I would think it's just representative of the population, no more no less.. if more people have chosen a 360 over a PS3, it's for a reason, the 360 is still worldwide continuing to do well because at the end of the day in a highly competitive market, the 360 is clearly more appealing to more people then it's competition..

We all know things are changing, and the PS3 is getting more popular, so I would expect the forum to become more balanced...

In fact for any forum to be 'pro' the minority console would be considered unrepresentative of the populous view and therefore would be a bad thing, but for a forum to be representative of the populous's views in my opinion is as it should be..

MS making money is a very good thing, as is the PS3 selling more.. I whole heartedly agree that the only win win situation for us is if things carry on as they are now with healthly competition, in fact I'd say the PS3 being the underdog for so long will benefit us all, as this is a clear lesson to Sony to listen to the customer, something they seem to have finally grasped..

The Xbox360 is probably the best priced console for what it offers ever made. You could play all the games you want on a £150 core console, or £210 (IIRC) on launch. Hardly expensive for a console with such a good games catalogue and online service.

Just a foolish thing to say really.

I'm not against profiteering in anyway, if I think it's too much then I won't buy it, it's as simple as that.

If you're referring to the cost associated with extending the 360's warranty and refunding people who had them repaired, that was written off in the last financial year I believe.

Nothing wrong with that. Nintendo did brilliantly to make a profit and they deserve credit for it, I've never understood people knocking them for making a profit.
