I've always been able to play Xbox games on my PC as a benefit of my son having Game Pass Ultimate for his Xbox - granted I had to log in as him to install the game, but after that I've always been able to log out and then log back in via the Xbox PC app and been able to play the game via my login!
However, I've come to have a go on Fallout 76 and it's not letting me play, telling me that I have not got an active subscription (despite the Xbox app saying "Ultimate"" under my username at the top left!?!) - even if' I'm logged into the Microsoft store with my son's account!!
I know for sure this used to work because I've played Fallout 76 before and definitely don't own it on any other platform!
Does anyone know if this is a deliberate shift in policy by Microsoft or is there a way around this??
Thanks...
ps. I know I could just stay logged in on his account and play, but I don't want to mess with his progress in games!
