Your in game name is your XBL gamertag, you have to change your gamertag to change your in game name.

800 points = £6.80, but you'll probably have to buy 1000 for £8.50.

You have to pay to stop people changing them willy nilly and abusing the system.

Shocking isnt it. Anyhoo tell us what it is so we can add you then report your name as offensive. Microsoft used to let you change it for free under those circumstances. Lets hope the policy hasn't changed and you infact get banned from live instead
