Hi guys,

Despite not seeing any issues in Titan Fall I noticed mine and the other half's One's were always on a 2/3 bar connection.

FIFA I've had issues with button lag for a few months now.

I've noticed my latency in details network stats on the One is at 292 ms! Which is ridiculously high.

If I do a ping to bbc.co.uk for example, I'm getting an average of around 40ms.

The Xbox One is plugged into the router. I tested the other One and that's in the 300's!

Our internet fluctuates between 10mb-20mb DL and UL. Ping on speedtest is around 50ms.

Any advice?
 
I had 2mb internet a couple of weeks ago, now on 20mb, same issues.

I've only checked the latency if I'm honest.

I just had a laggy game of FIFA, pretty much 90% of my games are effected by button lag or general lag. Doesn't really make sense.
 
Unfortunately you wouldn't of heard of them! They cater for rural area's, farms, small villages etc. It's a wireless solution, basically a satellite on top of my house. They're called NYNet.

It's like something is restricting the Xbox as mentioned ping tests elsewhere on the PC come back OK?
 
Sorry yeah it's not going to space ;)

The access point it connects to is about 20 miles away. I've spoke to the guys and the wireless would add around 15-20ms over a normal connection. Doesn't really warrant the latency on the XBox..
 
Has anyone checked their latency on their Xbox ones?

Apparently it's measured on pinging servers in the US?

And yeah pc and Xbox connect to the same router. Second One same issue.

I've got the One in the Dmz already, only do that to get an open Nat mind.

On the Xbox One...Settings > Detailed Network Stats.

I'm pretty sure it's not accurate really as my download and upload are not consistent with what my ISP actually provide. It says 4mb DL, 1.78mb UL

According to speedtest my ping is 42ms, DL 13.53mb and UL 14.6mb.

Go figure...
